Synergy Performance Team
Synergy is BSD’s non-competitive performance team, designed for dancers who are ready to take their training, commitment, and performance experience to the next level. Dancers are invited to participate based on the recommendation of BSD teachers and staff, with consideration given to technique, work ethic, dedication, teamwork, and readiness for the additional responsibilities of the team.
Being part of Synergy means more than additional time on stage. Throughout the season, dancers participate in extra rehearsals and choreography while continuing to build their technique, performance quality, confidence, versatility, and ability to work as part of a team. Synergy provides dancers with opportunities to challenge themselves and grow while remaining rooted in BSD’s supportive, non-competitive philosophy.
A core part of the Synergy experience is community and giving back. Team members represent BSD through community performances, BSD Gives Back events, outreach opportunities, and our annual Synergy Specialty Show. We want our dancers to understand that their talents can be used for more than performing—they can bring joy to others, connect with our community, and make a positive impact beyond the studio.
Just as importantly, Synergy is a team family. Dancers learn to support and encourage one another, celebrate each other’s successes, work through challenges together, and understand the responsibility that comes with being part of something bigger than themselves.
Synergy is an opportunity for dancers who are ready for more commitment, more growth, more performance opportunities, and a deeper connection to their BSD dance family and community.
